At Sound & Rhythm Studio, we offer programs tailored to different ages, interests, and abilities—from school programs and senior programs to corporate team-building events, community drumming, and individual lessons. No previous musical experience is needed to get started, and even for seasoned musicians, there’s always something new to explore.
The djembe is a perfect example: you can begin making music with it almost immediately, yet spend a lifetime discovering its possibilities.

Bolokada Condé: Rhythms of West Africa
Learn 13 traditional West African rhythms from master djembefola Bolokada Condé, a renowned Guinean drummer and former lead drummer of Les Percussions de Guinée.
In this comprehensive video series, Bolokada shares the history and cultural significance of each rhythm, demonstrates the individual djembe and dundun parts, and performs with his ensemble in locations throughout Guinea, West Africa. Learn directly from a master musician through detailed instruction and full ensemble performances.
